Fred Hannel

Fred Hannell, 70, Rt. 1, Bringhurst, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday of last week.
  Born May 27, 1900, he was the son of Martin and Mary Schwigher Hannell.  His marriage on Sept. 10, 1919, was to Lena Hughes, who survives.
  A farmer and life resident of this community, he was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, Sugar Creek Conservation Club and Radnor United Methodist Church.
  Surviving with the widow are a daughter, Mrs. Richard McCain of Bringhurst and a sister, Mrs. Emma Sparks of Indianapolis.  Three sisters and four brother preceded him in death.
  Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Jackson Funeral Home in Delphi.  Rev. Arthur Schenck officiated and burial was in Masonic Cemetery, Delphi.  Odd Fellows services were held Friday evening.
