MRS. MARY WOOTAN DIES IN NEW YORK Mrs. Mary Wootan, wife of George Wootan, died Sunday at the Fordson hospital, New York City, after a short illness of pneumonia. The re- mains were brought to Delphi and taken to the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Granville Hubbard of South Delphi. Mrs. Wootan, before her marriage in June, 1924, was Miss Mary Hubbard; she graduated from the Delphi high school and after this was with the New York Store for several, years. She was 27 years of age. Mr. Wootan, when he lived in Delphi, was employed as a printer in The Citizen office. The deceased was a charming young woman, was popular with a large circle of friends and word of her death was the cause of great sorrow among them. Besides her parents she is survived by her husband, a sister, Mrs. William McCully of Toledo, Ohio; and two brothers, Newton Hubbard of Toledo, and Earl Hubbard of Delphi. The remains arrived from New York this morning. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Baptist church Rev. Martinson officiating; burial in the Masonic cemetery.
