Willard G. Cartwright, 69, of Los Gates, California, died the first of the week in a hospital there following a short illness, according to word received at Delphi by his cousin, Attorney Joseph T. Ives.
  Born in Delphi, he was the son of George O. and Blanche G. Gilliland Cartwright.  He was a graduate of Delphi High School and Wabash College where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity.
  Before his retirement he was employed with Westinghouse.  He was Grand Commander of the Knights of Templar of the State of California.
  He is survived by the widow, twin sons and grandchildren.
  Funeral services and burial will be today, Thursday, in California.
