Lawrence Margowski

Lawrence Margowski, 59, known to a host of friends and acquaintances as "Larry" died at his store Monday morning.  Mr. Margowski was stricken with a heart attack at about 10 a.m. Monday and died 40 minutes later at the sotre.
  Owner and manager of the Margowski Paint and Wall Paper Store, he had been associated with the firm for many years with his father, the late William S. Margowski a Delphi druggist.
  Born in this city April 6, 1902, his parents were William and Hedwig Grygier Margowski.  He was graduated from Delphi High School in 1920 and attended Notre Dame.  His marriage on Dec. 22, 1945 was to Mildred Armick.  He was a member of St. Joseph church of Delphi and was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
  Surviving with the widow are a son, John, at home and a sister, Mrs. Lawrence (Mary) Strasburger of Otterbein.
  Funeral rites, were conducted Wednesday morning from the St. Joseph church with Msgr. Arthur Sego officiating.  Burial was in St. Joseph cemetery.  Rosary was said at the Eikenberry funeral home Tuesday night.
