J.W. “Bill” McCormick, 83, of Canoga Park, Calif., died there Thursday, April 9, 1981, at the home of a friend and former partner, Leo Carrigan, with whom he resided. Born Jan. 21, 1898, in Flora, he was the son of Tim and Ellen Clark McCormick. A 1920 graduate of Delphi High School, McCormick served with the Navy during World War II. He was employed for several years by the Chautauqua. Before his retirement he was owner and operator of a service station. A brother, Tom McCormick, of Delphi Ind., survives. Funeral services were Tuesday with burial in Hollywood Hills, Forest Lawn, Calif.
