Mrs. Mabel M. (Daggy) Roberts, 82, a retired White County school teacher residing at Lafayette, died Wednesday of last week in St. Elizabeth Hospital. Born in Delphi, she had lived in Buck Creek from 1921 until moving to Lafayette in 1943. Her marriage in 1921 was to Edward J. Roberts. She attended Indiana State Normal College and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of the Buck Creek Order of Eastern Star, Star City Rebekah Lodge, American Legion Auxiliary and Buck Creek Extension Homemakers Club. Surviving are a son, Charles E. Roberts of Lafayette, and a grandson. Services were Friday and interment was in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. --
