Miss Edith E. Timmons, 60 of Rockfield, succumbed at 1 a.m. Monday at a Logansport hospital. She had been in ill health for several years. A native of Carroll county she was born Nov. 9, 1894 to William Franklin and Cora (Lantz) Timmons. She was a member of the Rockfield Presbyterian church and was a retired Carroll county teacher. Survivors are two sisters, Miss Ruby Timmons, of route 3, Delphi and Mrs. Florence Koontz, route 3, Delphi and a brother, Donald, route 2, Delphi. A brother and three sisters are deceased. Funeral rites were 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Eikenberry funeral home with the Rev. Jacob Williams officiating. Internment will be Rockfield cemetery.
