Don Julien - Class Of 1912

Don M. Julien, vice president of Foster and Davies, Inc., national advertising agency in Cleveland and a native of Delphi, died late Wednesday in St. Luke's hospital, Cleveland.  His death was attributed to a heart ailment.  He was 66.
  Mr. Julien resided at 3893 Traver Road, Shaker Heights, Ohio.
  Julien was born in Delphi, the son of George and Mary Morrow Julien.  His father was a prominent Delphi attorney.  In World War I he served as a captain of field artillery of the Army.  Julien was a graduate of DePauw University in 1916.
  A skilled player of the French horn, Mr. Julien was active in many musical organizations.  He was a Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Shaker Heights Country Club.  Mr. Julien owned the farm, south of Delphi, operated by Milt Bowman.
  He joined the Foster and Davies organization a score of years ago.  It is known for its electric lighting and appliance industry, accounts, in which Julien specialized.
  Surviving are his wife, Helen; a daughter, Mrs. Joann Brazler; a son, G. William.  The latter heads the Julien Construction Company in Cleveland of which his father was vice president and a director.
  Rites were held Saturday in Shaker Heights with burial there.
