Ruth McCormick, 82, of Delphi died Mon., Dec. 17, 1979, at 7:35 p.m. at Delphi Nursing Home where she had been since 1978. She had been in ill health several years. She resided at Carroll Manor for sometime before going to the nursing home. Born May 11,1897, in Delphi, she was the daughter of John F. and Nancy Lesh McCormick. She was a former employee of Carroll County Loan & Trust Co., Globe Valve and at Carroll County courthouse. She was a charter member of Tri Kappa Sorority and a member of Presbyterian Church. She is survived by cousins, including Don Lesh of Camden and Chester and Ward Lesh, Logansport. One sister, Lena McCormick, preceded her in death. Friends may call today from 4 to 9 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home where services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday with Rev. David Smook officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery in Delphi.
