Word of the death of Miss Helen Sims, resident of Cupertino, California, was received last week by Mrs. Paul (Clara) Sims of Delphi, sister-in-law, and Mrs. Robert Davidson, of Lafayette, a close friend. Born near Delphi October 22, 1895, she was a daughter of Joseph and Ella Shigley Sims. She had resided in Texas and California for more than 30 years after leaving Delphi where she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a bookkeeper, but had been ill more than a year. Three brothers, Charles and Paul Sims of Delphi, and Ralph of California and a sister, Josephine Grimm preceded her in death. Details of the final rites have not been received.
