Mrs. Edith (Thompson) Coomey, 66, of 301 South Ninth street, Lafayette, died in St. Elizabeth hospital at 2:25 a.m. Tuesday. She had been ill five months and entered the hospital Saturday. Born at Delphi, she was married in 1916 to Charles Coomey, who died in 1956. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Homer Faulkner, of Klamath Agency, Oregon; and two brothers, Cloyd and John Thompson, and a sister, Mrs. Florence Hoshaw, all of Delphi. Services will be held Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. in St. Boniface Catholic church in Lafayette. Burial will be at Lafayette. Friends may call at the Zahn-Schneider funeral home, at Lafayette after 2:00 p.m. today, Thursday.
