The funeral of Mrs. Ruth Mount, 71 of 309 East Main St. Delphi, was Tuesday afternoon at the Jackson Funeral Home in Delphi. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery. Mrs. Mount died Friday night at Lakeland. Fla., where she and her husband were spending the winter. She had been in poor health for the’ past two years. Born on Feb. 16, 1894, at Morocco, she was the daughter of Sigel and Lydia Freeman Royster. She was married to Haughey Mount. Delphi hardware merchant, on Oct. 14. 1917. He survives. Mrs. Mount was a member of the Delphi Christian Church. Other survivors are two sons, John R. of Delphi and Robert of Lafayette; a daughter, Mrs. Herbert Carver of Delphi; three brothers, Paul Royster of Washington, D. C.; Robert of St Paul, Minn., and Ralph of Monticello; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
