Sarah (Sallie) Grimm, 83, of Delphi, died at 6 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 1978, at her residence of an apparent heart attack. Born April 17,1895, in Flora, she was the daughter of Thomas and Lillian Kerlin Ryan. She was married May 18, 1914, at Delphi, to Edward Grimm, who died in 1964. She was a member of the Delphi Presbyterian Church, the Gamma Alpha Associate Chapter of Tri Kappa, and the Charles Carroll Chapter of the DAR. Surviving are a daughter-in-law Edna Grimm, of Delphi; four grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. A son, a daughter and a brother preceded her in death. Services were Tuesday at Jackson Funeral Home, Delphi, with the Rev. Douglas Tracy officiating. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Delphi Presbyterian Church.
