Mrs. Florence Houser, 80, of 219 S. Union St., died July 4th at Delphi Nursing Home where she had been a patient since May 15th.
  Born Sept. 23, 1893, near Delphi, she was the daughter of Arthur and Luela Hayne Shortridge.  Her marriage was to Frank H. Houser who died in May 1955.  She was a legal secretary most of her life in Delphi.  She was a member of the Delphi American Legion Auxiliary.
  Surviving is a brother, Lewis Shortridge, of Delphi.
  Services were Sunday afternoon at Lloyd Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Ashley officiating.  Interment was in Masonic Cemetery.
