Miss Nelletta Clifford, 82, of Delphi died at 5:35 p.m. Friday, August 12,1977, at the Americana Nursing Home at Lafayette, following an extended illness. Born March 20,1895, at Delphi, she was the daughter of James H. and Margaret McClain Clifford. Miss Clifford was a retired bookkeeper with the former Clifford Clothing Store and was a partner in the Clifford Grocery, both of Delphi. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church. Survivors include a brother, Hubert Clifford of Delphi; a sister, Mrs. Josephine Thieme of Lafayette, and several nieces and nephews. Four brothers and a sister preceded her in death. Services were Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father David Clifford and Father Ambrose Ziegler officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
