Russel Craig - Class Of 1914

The funeral of Russell E. Craig, 76, of Rt. 2, Delphi will be this afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Jackson Funeral Home in Delphi.  Rev. Robert Wilburn will be in charge and burial will be in Masonic Cemetery.
  Mr. Craig died at 5 p.m. Monday at his residence of an apparent heart attack.
  Born May 16, 1896 in Flora, he was the son of Eli and Della Ferguson Craig.  His first marriage was to Verla Duff, who is deceased.  His second marriage was to Cecilia Gant, who survives.
  A retired farmer, he was a member of the Delphi Methodist Church, the Masonic and Odd Fellows Lodges of Delphi and a Past Master of the Tipwa Grange.
  Surviving with the widow are three sons, Max of Jackson, Mich., Morris of Marion, Ohio, and Dale of Delphi; a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Steinman of Watseka, Ill.; a brother, Leo Craig of Lafayette, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
