Myrtle Gillam (Bougher) - Class Of 1914

  Mrs. Myrtle I. Bougher, 60, a well known resident of Madison Township and former school teacher, died at her home Friday evening following a brief illness.
  Born south of Delphi on Dec. 4, 1895, she was the daughter of William and Lucy (Miller) Gillam.  She was married to Raymond Bougher on Dec. 29, 1919.  Mrs. Bougher graduated from Delphi high school and attended North Manchester college.  She had taught in the Pyrmont, Owasco and Yeoman schools.  She was a member of the Methodist church.
  Surviving with the husband are two daughters; Ruth Anderson and Mrs. Vernon Isley, both of route 4, Delphi; a brother, Vern Gillam of Kokomo.
  Funeral rites were conducted Monday afternoon from the Jackson funeral home with Rev. James Cox officiating.  Burial was in the Zion cemetery.
