Florence Evelyn Martin, 45, a life resident of Rockfield, died at 8:15 o’clock Tuesday morning at the Cass county hospital following an illness of two weeks. She was born in Rockfield on Mar. 16, 1897, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Gregg. She was married to William Martin in May, 1923. Mrs. Martin had taught in the Rockfield schools for several years and was active in the Missionary society and the Home Economics club. She was a member of the Rockfield Presbyterian church. She is survived by the husband; a son, Jimmy and a brother, Paul Gregg. Funeral services were held on Thursday at 2 p. m. at the Presbyterian church with Rev. William Jacoby officiating. Burial was made in Odd Fellows cemetery.
