Minnie Snoeberger (Roach) - Class Of 1914

Services for Minnie J. Roach, 87, were at 2 p.m. Monday at Delphi United Methodist Church with the Rev. Donald Ashley officiating.  Burial was in Masonic Cemetery, Delphi.
  She died at 7:15 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 1984, in Lafayette Home Hospital where she had been a patient one day.
  Mrs. Roach resided in Carroll County all of her life until moving to Westminster Village, West Lafayette, four years ago.
  Born Feb. 24, 1897, on a farm near Camden, she was the daughter of George and Josephine Sieber Snoeberger.  Her marriage was April 3, 1917, in Delphi, to Harry E. Roach, who died in 1978.
  She and her husband owned and operated Roach's Bakery in Delphi for 18 years.
  Mrs. Roach was an active member of the Delphi United Methodist Church and the Friendship Circle of the church, a life member of Rose Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of Kappa Kappa Kappa Sorority.  She had also served as Deer Creek Township Trustee.
  Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Marjorie) Clayton of Bloomington; one son, George William Roach of Lafayette; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
  One sister and one brother preceded her in death.
  The family suggest that memorial contributions be made to Delphi United Methodist Church or to a favorite charity.
  Horn Funeral Home, Delphi, was in charge of arrangements.
