Freda Brown Engle, 88, died at 2 p.m. Friday at Indiana Veterans Home, West Lafayette, where she had lived the past seven years.  She formerly was a resident in Lafayette.
  Mrs. Engle operated Blossom Shop in Monticello, and later operated Engle's Blossom Shop in West Lafayette.
  Born in Camden and reared in Delphi, she graduated from Delphi High School.
  Surviving is one sister, two nephews and four grandchildren.
  One son, Joseph, preceded her in death.
  Services were held Monday in Monticello.
