Lois Cox - Class Of 1915

  Miss Lois Cox, a registered nurse, died Saturday evening in Watts Hospital, Durham, North Carolina, where she had been a patient for several months.
  Born in this county, she was the daughter of George E. and Mary I. Cox.  A graduate of Delphi high school, Miss Cox received her nursing degree from St. Lukes Hospital, Chicago and her public health nursing degree from Peabody College, Nashville, Tennessee.  Miss Cox was the first public health nurse at Richmond in Wayne county and later was with the Kellogg Foundation.  For the past 15 years she has been associated with the Department of Public Health in Durham, North Carolina.
  Surviving are a brother, Newell Cox, of Logansport and a sister, Mrs. Esther Gregg, Carroll County Public Health Nurse.
  Private memorial rites were held in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and cremation followed.
