Mrs. Edith A. Norman, 78, of Toledo, Ohio, died Tuesday of last week in Lake Park Nursing Care Center in Sylvania, Ohio, where she was a patient three weeks. Born July 9,1896, at Delphi, she was the daughter of Harry E. and Jennie Galloway Gruber. She was graduated from Delphi High School and was married to John M. Norman. She was employed by the Champion Spark Plug Co. for 22 years, retiring in 1966. Surviving are five sons, Milton, Melvin, Dale, Albert and Lester Norman; two brothers , Charles Gruber of Sylvania, Ohio, and Larry Gruber of Delphi; and a sister, Mrs. Rosa Chroninger of Montpelier, Ohio. Final rites were Friday at Toledo with interment in Toledo Memorial Park. Carroll County Comet, Oct. 9, 1974
