Jennings Bryan Miller - Class Of 1916

Jennings Bryan Miller, 76, of Rt. 3, Monticello, and Riviera Beach, Florida, died Saturday at 2 a.m. in Palm Beach Gardens Hospital in Florida following a short illness. Born in Beard June 27,1897, he was the son of Fred and Etta Beard Miller. He was married to Frances Boyes who died in November 1967. He was married in July 1968 to Juanita Mary Fullerton. Mr. Miller was graduated from Delphi High School and attended Purdue University. A retired livestock broker, he formerly owned and operated stockyards at Flora, Crawfordsville, Monticello, and Winamac. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Monticello, Masonic Lodge at Crawfordsville, Tippecanoe Country Club, and Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine at Indianapolis. Surviving with the widow are three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. His only child, Mrs. Marjorie Peirce, preceded him in death in November 1973. Services were Wednesday afternoon at Goodwin Funeral Home, Frankfort, with Rev. Wallace McDonald officiating. Entombment was in Greenlawn Mausoleum at Frankfort.
