Miss Hazel Schenck, a graduate of the 1916 class of the Delphi high school, daughter of Fred Schenck a Delphi resident, died at a hospital in Goshen Thursday following an operation for appendicitis. Miss Schenck was about 20 years of age and was a most popular young woman. She was engaged to be married to Robert Waldron, of Lafayette. The body was taken to Frankfort Wednesday and on Thurday funeral services were held from the Hopewell church, with internment in the adjoining cemetery.
