Graveside Rites Set
For Thomas Pollard,
Native of Delphi
DELPHI — Thomas Bracken
Pollard, 72, of Chicago, a native
of Delphi, died in Chicago Thursday
afternoon.
He was born in Delphi and was
a son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Pollard. His father was a wellknown
Delphi attorney and he
was the nephew of the late Judge
Charles Pollard, of Delphi.
His marriage was to Lottie
Hawkins and she preceded him
in death.
He was a retired industrial engineer
in Chicago.
Survivors include two sons,
Richard and Thomas, Jr.
The body is at the Nelson funeral
home in Chicago. Graveside
rites will be conducted at the
Odd Fellows cemetery in Delphi
at 1 p.m. Monday.

  Thomas Bracken Pollard, 72, of Chicago, died Wednesday night in Chicago.  A member of a once-prominent Delphi family, he was born in this community, the son of Mrs. and Mrs. Robert Pollard, and was an industrial engineer in Chicago.
  Surviving are two sons, Richard and Thomas, Jr., both of Chicago.
  The body was brought to Delphi for graveside rites at the IOOF cemetery at 1 p.m. Monday.  Jackson funeral home in Delphi was in charge of arrangements.
  A brother, Charles and a sister, Florence, preceded him in death.
