William Bohm - Class Of 1908

One of the saddest deaths that it has been the duty of the Citizen Times to chronicle for some time, is that of Will Bohm, a young physician in the prime of manhood awaiting the call to serve his country in the medical corps of the United States army. Will Bohm is the son of Mrs. P. J. Bohm, of this city. His wife was Mable Minnenian, of Logansport. Besides his wife and mother, he leaves a two year old son, Robert Arthur; also two brothers, Fred and Charles and a sister, Mrs John Bowen, of Logansport. Dr. Bohm was in Delphi a week ago Monday. He returned that day to Chicago and on Thursday was taken seriously ill with pneumonia. His wife and mother and Mrs. Jacob Minneman, of Logansport, were with him when he died. He was in the senior year of his studies at the Chicago College of Medicine and Surgery and it was the understanding that the young men of the Senior class would be allowed to enter the service before the end of their senior year. He was a young man whom everybody liked and his passing is deeply mourned. He was 29 years old last November. He was a member of the Kappa Psi fraternity. The body was brought to the residence of Jacob Minneman on Cliff drive, Logansport, Thursday evening. The funeral will be held this (Saturday) morning at nine o’clock from St. Joseph's church at Logansport, Rev. A. J. Kroeger officiating. Interment will be made in Mt. St. Vincent cemetery.
