Floyd Julien - Class Of 1908

    Floyd J. Julien, 78, of 121 W Summit St., Delphi, died at 4 p.m. Saturday in Green View Nursing Home at Indianapolis where he was a patient since Wednesday.  He had been in an Indianapolis Hospital for several weeks.
   Mr. Julien was a Delphi attorney and abstractor.  He was a stockholder and secretary and manager of Carroll County Abstract Co., Inc. since January 1, 1933.
   Born February 27, 1891, in Carroll County, he was the son of Eran and Catherine Ward Julien.  His marriage April 13, 1918, was to Bertha Hornbeck.  He was a veteran of World War I.  He was graduated from Delphi High School and Northwestern University where he was a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity.
   Mr. Julien was a member of Masonic Lodge, Commandery, IOOF Lodge and Harry Bohannon Post 75, American Legion, all of Delphi, and 40 & 8 and Elks, both of Lafayette, and Indiana Bar Association.
   Surviving with the widow are a son, Eran of Zionsville, a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Banker of Orinda, California; one sister, Mrs. George Todd of Delphi, and seven grandchildren.
   Masonic services were Tuesday evening at the Jackson Funeral Home where funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. David Abel officiating.  Military graveside services were in Delphi Masonic Cemetery.
