Thomas D. Martin, 81, a retired furniture salesman, died at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday of last week at the Masonic Home, Franklin.
  Born Jan. 18, 1890, in Rock Creek Township, Carroll County, he was the son of Wilson A. and Malinda Martin.  His marriage, Sept. 4, 1912, was to the former Mary Justice who preceded him in death.
  He was a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church and Tipton Masonic Lodge, Logansport.
  Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Betsy Ribble, Maryville, Tenn., one sister, Mrs. H. Y. Mullin, Rockfield; one brother, Paul, Muncie; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held under the auspices of Tipton Masonic Lodge Friday afternoon at the Calvary Presbyterian Church.  Cremation followed with burial in Keeps Creek Cemetery, Carroll County.
