Walter Grimm - Class Of 1909

Walter Grimm, 73, of Winona, Minnesota, formerly of Delphi, died at 4 p.m. Friday at Memorial Hospital in Winona.
  Grimm, a former music teacher at Logansport and Shelbyville high schools, retired recently after 40 years as head of the music department at Winona State College in Minnesota.
  He was a graduate of Delphi High School and the former state university at Terre Haute.
  Born July 3, 1892, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Adam and Datrina Koessler Grimm.  His marriage was to Josephine Sims, who preceded him in death.
  Surviving are a son, Walter Deming Grimm of Riverside, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Karen Hunt of Lafayette and Miss Katharine Grimm, of Ft. Know., Ky., and a sister, Mrs. Curtis McCain at Delphi, who he visited frequently.  Mrs. E. O. Grimm of Delphi is a sister-in-law.
  Mrs. and Mrs. Curtis McCain went to Winona where funeral services and interment were Tuesday.
