Mary Lesh (Baldwin) - Class Of 1910

Mrs. Mary Lesh Baldwin, wife of Dr. I.L. Baldwin, vice-president of the University of Wisconsin, died suddenly at her home in Madison Monday evening.  Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Lesh of Burrows.
    She was graduated from the Delphi High School in 1910 and from Purdue University in 1919.  Prior to her marriage she was a member of the faculty of University of Kentucky.  Dr. Baldwin, who is a native of Oxford, was a faculty member at Purdue University for several years.  The family moved to Madison in 1927.
    Surviving with the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Maurice Guptill of Genoa City, Wisconsin; a son, Roberts, who is a Rhodes scholar at Oxford University in England; two granddaughters.  A daughter, Frances, met a tragic death in 1940 at the age of 16.
    Two sisters, Mrs. Frank Hederich of Camden and Mrs. Walter Martin of route 3, Delphi, and a brother, D. L. Lesh, route 3, Delphi, also survive.
