Word has been received by relatives here of the death of Mrs. Claudia B. (Metsker) Pitman, which occurred December 24 in Pasadena, California. A former resident of White and Carroll Counties, she was born in Yeoman on August 20, 1873. Her marriage to Harry E. Pitman was on July 1, 1900. Both were teachers in Carroll County schools prior to moving to California in 1910. Her husband died January 24, 1954. Survivors are three daughters and a son, all of California. Funeral was held December 30 in Pasadena and interment was in Sacramento, California.
