Mrs. Lenna (Dern) Hurst, 83 formerly of Lafayette, died Tuesday, March 31, in the Odd Fellows home at Greensburg where she had lived four years. Born near Delphi, she was married in 1906 to Lewis B. Hurst who died in 1948. She was a member of the Congress Street Methodist church in Lafayette and Star City Rebekah Court No. 292. Surviving are two sisters: Mrs. Bertha Noble, of Reno, Nevada; and Mrs. Dorothy Swanson, of Massillon, Ohio. Services will be held at the Rogers Myers Funeral Home in Lafayette at 10:00 a.m. Thursday (today) with Rev. Earl Heimburger officiating. Burial will be made in the Spring Vale cemetery.
