Floyd Menaugh - Class Of 1900

Floyd Menaugh, 81, of 925 S. Masonic Street, Delphi, local poet and historian died Sunday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. in St. Elizabeth hospital, Lafayette, where he had been a patient one day. Born May 16, 1880, in Carroll county, he was the son of Charles and Edna Gilliam Menaugh. He was first married to Evelyn Musson. Later he married Ruby Mae Milton. Mr. Menaugh was a retired salesman for Montgomery Ward and Company and since his retirement had been employed at several local concerns and operated his own saw repair shop. He was a member of the Methodist church. The widow is the only immediate survivor. A sister-in-law, Mrs. Grace Menaugh resides in Delphi. Rites were conducted Wednesday from the Eikenberry chapel with Rev. O. P. Manker officiating. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery.
