Birth: 1881 Death: Oct. 19, 1956 Arthur Dern, 75, a native of this community, died Saturday of a heart attack at his home in Rodeo, California. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Dern and graduated from Delphi high schools His marriage was to Ada Smith, and the couple had celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last Wednesday. Mr. Dern was a retired banker in Rodeo. Surviving with the widow are a son and three daughters, all of California; three sisters; a brother-in-law, Judge William B. Smith and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Forest H. Orr of Delphi. Mrs. Warnie Mullendore of Rockfield is a cousin. Funeral rites were held Monday in Rodeo with burial there.
