Graveside rites were held noon Wednesday at the Masonic cemetery for Walter Ruffing, 81, Chicago resident and Delphi native who was found dead in his Chicago apartment on Friday. Prior to his retirement he was an electrical engineer with the Chicago Edison Company. Born in Delphi Dec. 10, 1880, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Ruffing. He was a graduate of the Purdue School of Electrical Engineering. The only immediate survivor is a sister, Mrs. G. W. (“Sis" Ruffing) Harrison of Los Angles, Calif.
