Mrs. Bessie Bibbins Hencke, 87, of West Lafayette died Thursday in Americana Nursing Center.  She had been ill and in the nursing center since August 19th.
  Mrs. Hencke was born at Beloh, Wis., and moved to Delphi at the age of eight, then later moved to Lafayette.  She was a graduate of the old Parker School of Music.  In 1910 she graduated from the Indianapolis Conservatory of Music and for many years was organist of Central Presbyterian Church of which she was a member.
  In 1920 she was married to Fred S. Hencke, who died in 1937.  She was a member of the 20th Century Club.  Prior to her marriage she was a bookkeeper for a grocery store.
  Nieces and nephews survive.
  Services were Saturday at Lafayette where burial was in Springvale Cemetery.
