Larry Jackson was born in Deer Creek township, this county, Aug. 8, 1882 and died at the home of his parents in Cass county Thursday. He graduated from the Delphi high school with the class of 1903 and from Purdue University with the class of 1907. He was tendered a government position and did surveying in the Phillipines until 1910, when he returned home on account of impaired health. Later he went to California where on Jan. 20, 1912 he was united in marriage to Miss Orie Hinkle, of this county, who, with his parents, two brothers and two sisters survive him. Ten months ago, the couple returned to the home of the young man’s parents in Cass county where they have since resided. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon from the Methodist Church in this city.
