Miss Laura Griffith, age 70 years, died early Monday morning at her home in Delphi, after several month’s illness. The deceased was well and favorably known in community, having been connected with local banks for the past 41 years, and cashier at the A. T. Bowen bank for twenty six years, until recently when her health failed. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Jessie McPherson who lived with her. Funeral services were held Wednesday at St. Mary's Episcopal church, the Rev. H. R. White officiating, burial in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
