James Kiley - Class Of 1882

According to court reports on his estate James Kiley died in early 1914. Delphi Times February 4, 1899 James P. Kiley one of the best known young men of Carroll county is in the county jail and his condition mentally is deplorable. Mr. Kiley has broken in health very severely during the past few weeks, and his mind has given away, rendering his safe-keeping necessary. No one who knows Jim Kiley, but will regret his misfortune, for years one of Delphi’s best business men he made and retained many friendships. It is hoped that prompt and proper treatment will restore his lost faculties.
