Rosser Titlow - Class Of 1883

Word was received in this city Saturday morning of the death at Tacoma, Washington, of Rosser Titlow, following an illness of several weeks of uremic poisoning. A week heart was the immediate cause of his death. Deceased formerly made his home in Delphi and was the son, of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Titlow. He is survived by his wife and five children. He is the brother of Miss Alice Titlow, and I Meade Titlow, of this city, and Miss. Lora Titlow, of Chicago. Deceased is said to have become wealthy since locating in the west. He was Democratic National Committeeman of Washington.

Additional information, Aaron R. Titlow was the namesake developer of the Titlow Beach area in Tacoma, Washington. In 1911 he built the Hotel Hesperides, a portion of which remains today as the community center at Titlow Park.
