Minnie McCain (Baum) - Class Of 1888

Mrs. Minnie V Baum, 86, of 421 E Franklin Street, died at 3:45 pm Wednesday at the Good Will Nursing Home, Camden, after a two week illness. A life resident here, she was born Jan. 4, 1870, daughter of Daniel and Matilda McDonald McCain. Her marriage on Oct. 22, 1895 was to Edwin Baum, who died in 1941. She and her husband formerly owned and operated Baum's Greenhouse. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a son, Robert M Baum, of here; a grandson, Robert E Baum, Lafayette; two great-grandsons; a brother, Luther R McCain, of here. Seven brothers preceded her in death. Friends may call at the Eikenberry Funeral Home after 4 o'clock Friday. Final services will be there at 2 o'clock Saturday. The Rev. James Rankin will officiate and burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery. Logansport Press - Thursday 1/13/1957
