Mrs. Catherine S. Brackenridge, 92, of 312 East Main, Delphi died at 10:00 a.m. Sunday at the Lesley Nursing home at Buck Creek following a lingering illness. Born in Delphi December 10, 1868, she was the daughter of Bernard F. and Josephine Case Schemerhorn. Her marriage was to William T. Brackenridge and he died In 1928. She was a lifelong resident of Delphi and was a member of the Episcopal church, a charter member of the DAR, a patroness at Psi Iota Xi sorority and a member of the Woman’s Club. Survivors include two sons, Reed, of Delphi and Joseph, of Cleveland, Ohio, and one grandson. Funeral services were held Tuesday, with burial in the Delphi IOOF cemetery.
