Will Milroy - Class Of 1889

Dr. William D. Milroy The death of Dr. William D. Milroy occurred last Sunday morning at his home in Logansport after an illness of three months. The funeral was held Tuesday in that city. The deceased was a son of the late Samuel and Phoebe Milroy and was born at the homestead east of town 37 years ago. He graduated from the medical department of the state university, after which he located at Metea, Cass county, and later moved to Logansport. Several years ago he married Miss Sarah Rogers, of Battle Creek, Mich., at one time teacher of music in the public schools in this city. She survives with a seven year old son. On the first of last November the young son of Dr. and Mrs. Milroy died end the loss caused the doctor great worry. He was stricken with typhoid fever shortly afterward. Then Mrs. Milroy suffered an attack of the fever Three weeks ago the doctor recovered from the fever, but he was unable to assimilate food and the end came Sunday.
