Wesley Jackson (Jack) Swatts, 65, Highland, a former resident of this community, died in Billings Hospital of the University of Chicago Monday night.  He was the son of the late Mrs. and Mrs. Sam Swatts who lived in Tippecanoe Township.
  A graduate of Delphi High School in 1925, he attended Wabash College and before his retirement two years ago was an employee of the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Laboratories in East Chicago.
  He was married to Alice Havran of East Chicago who survives with two daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Jasinski, Highland, Mrs. Carolinn Sagiotis, New York City, two grandchildren; Amy and Timmy Jasinski, and a sister, Miss Isabell Swatts, Hammond.
  Funeral services will be Thursday (today) and burial in Chapel Lawn, Schereville.
  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent directly to the Cancer Research Foundation of Billings Hospital of the University of Chicago.
