Howard Bradshaw - Class Of 1921

  Howard W. Bradshaw, 83, of Delphi, was dead on arrival at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, November 15, 1985.  His death was unexpected.
  He was born September 7, 1902, to William H. and Flora Gros Bradshaw, in Delphi.  He graduated from Delphi High School in 1921, and attended University of Illinois and Wabash College.  He first worked for his father at the Delphi Body Works, and in 1928 joined the Bradshaw Insurance Agency.  He was a third generation Bradshaw to work in the business.  He retired in 1964.  While in the business, he was involved in formation of several farm insurance programs in Indiana.
  Bradshaw was married to Arlyne Wishing on October 4, 1928, in Hamburg, New York, she survives.
  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Delphi, a former manager and past president of the Carroll County Country Club, past president of Delphi Chamber of Commerce, Delphi IOOF Lodge, former director of Hometown Federal Savings and Loan.  Bradshaw was a former chairman of the National Rural Agents Committee for the National Association of Insurance Agents and former director for the Indiana Independent Insurance Agents.
  Other survivors are a son, William H., and one daughter, Mrs. David (Joan) Nelson, both of Delphi; two brothers, Robert G. and Charles R. of Delphi, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
  Services were held Monday at Horn Funeral Home.  Burial was in IOOF Cemetery, Delphi.
