Keith V. Herr, 86, of Lafayette, died Dec. 7, 1998, at his home.

  Born July 29, 1912, in Cass County.

  He married Mary L. Taylor on Jan. 18, 1958, in Lafayette.  She died Dec. 22, 1993.

  Mr. Herr worked for Loeb's Department Store for 23 years as a drapery installer.  He also worked 10 years for Ruth Gingrich Interiors.

  He was a member of Congress Street United Methodist Church, Lafayette.

  Surviving are one daughter, Kathleen Lucas of Lafayette; three sons, Michael Herr and Glenn Herr, both of Lafayette, and Kenneth Herr of Delphi; two sisters, Cora Dunlap and Agnes Emery, both of Florida; three brothers, Amos Herr of Delphi, Maurice Herr of West Lafayette, and Manson Herr of Fort Wayne; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  Three sisters preceded him in death.

  Services and burial were Thursday in Lafayette.
