FREDRICK DAVID WOLFE - BUILDING TRADES INSTRUCTOR
 
  Fredrick David Wolfe, 67, of Back Bay Resort, Orange Beach, Ala., formerly of Monticello and Logansport, died Oct. 26, 1999, at Baptist Hospital, Pensacola, Fla.
  He married Carol Y. Dix on May 4, 1963, in Covington, and she survives.
  He was the owner-operator of a construction company, Wolfe Builders, for 30 years.  In 1985 he became the Building Trades instructor at Delphi Community High School.  He retired from DCHS in 1995 and he and his wife moved to Orange Beach.
  Mr. Wolfe was an avid golfer and was a previous member of the Tippecanoe Country Club.  While living in Indiana, he was a winner of several tournaments, including the Indiana State American Legion Golf Tournament, the Indiana State Elks Golf Tournament, and was a four-time winner of the Tippecanoe Country Club Championship.  While in Alabama he won several tournaments, including being a three-time winner of the Alabama Senior Golf Association Tournament and winning the Gulf Shores Golf Club Championship.
  Also surviving are his mother, Esther Fox of Logansport; a son, David L. Wolfe of Monticello; two daughters, Dawn Weatherford of Forsythe, Ga., and Denise Stone of Byron, Ga.; two brothers, Bert Wolfe of Logansport and Robert Wolfe of Kings Mountain, N.C.; two sisters, Mary Hall and Elizabeth Kibble, both of Logansport; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  One son is deceased.
  A memorial service will be held at Beaver Dam Inn, Monticello, at 1 p.m. Nov. 14.  The family would like guests to wear golf attire.  A previous memorial service was held Oct. 29 at Back Bay Condominium waterfront.
  Memorial contributions may be made to the Fred Wolfe Golf Scholarship Fund at La-Porter Federal Credit Union, 726 W. Broadway, Monticello.  The family requests floral arrangement be omitted.
