Wilhelmina Smitha

Mrs. Wilhelmina Feaster Smitha, 70, died at her residence, Rt. 5, Greensburg, Thursday morning, March 5, 1981, of an apparent heart attack.
  Mrs. Smitha had lived on Rt. 5, Greensburg, since October 1976, and prior to that she lived in Indianapolis.  She retired from teaching math at Avon High School in June of 1976.  She taught school over 40 years, including 15 years in Washington Township, Marion Co., and four years at Delphi High School where she also was a math teacher.
  She was born December 31, 1910, in Decatur County to William and Bertha Stark Feaster.  She was a member of the Methodist Church at Milford, Eastern Star at Milford and Extension Homemakers Club.  She was graduated from Butler University and was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, honorary teachers sorority.
  Surviving are her husband, Albert Smitha, and one sister, Mary F. Parker of Rt. 5, Greenburg.
  Services were Saturday morning at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home at Greensburg and burial was in the Van Pelt Cemetery.
