Harold E. Strycker, 65, West Lafayette, died Wednesday, July 10, 1985, in St. Elizabeth Hospital.  He had been hospitalized one day and ill health the past two months.
  Born in Nappanee, October 24, 1919, he was a teacher and principal.  Mr. Strycker was a principal at Delphi High school from 1967 until 1969 and taught at Benton Central High School from 1969 until retiring in 1982.
  He was married June 16, 1946, in Lakeside, Michigan, to L. Dare Perham, who survives.  Also surviving are a daughter, Jane E., Zionsville; two sons, David L., Eaton, Ohio and John R., West Lafayette.
  Also surviving are two step grandchildren, his mother and one brother.
  Memorial services were held in West Lafayette on Saturday.
