Lenora Jean Foster (McCormick) - Class Of 1940

Lenora Jean Foster was born in Indianapolis in 1922. She lived most of her life in Pittsburg, IN She attended schools in Pittsburg and in Delphi. She married Robert R. McCormick in Hattiesburg, MS She is the mother of three children; Nancy Lee (still-born), C. Reed of Arizona, and Brenda
Sue of Pittsburg, IN. She was married to Robert for 27 years and passed away on Nov. 1, 1968 at her home in Pittsburg. She was interred at the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Pittsburg. She is greatly missed by her husband, children and grandchildren.

 

Mrs. Lenora Jean McCormick, 46, of Rt. 2, Delphi, died at her home Friday at 3:00 p.m. after a lingering illness.

  Born November 6, 1922, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Clarence E. and Mable West Foster of Rt. 2, Delphi.  Both survive.
  She was married May 10, 1941, to Robert J. McCormick who survives.
  She was a member of the Pittsburg Southern Baptist Church.
  Survivors include a son, C. Reed McCormick of Mesa, Ariz.; a daughter, Brenda Sue, at home; two brothers, Clarence B. Foster and Robert L. Foster, both of Rt. 2, Delphi; a sister, Mrs. Alice Humphrey of Delphi and a half-sister, Mrs. Maxine Schoolcraft of Scottsburg.
  Services were held Monday afternoon at Sullivan Lloyd Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Fuller officiating.  Burial was in the Pittsburg Cemetery.
